Not the most observant guy, are you?

I already said I was busy! I have better things to do with my time than stare out the window for--

!!!

Those creatures that came in! Were they the cause of this?!

What, the Lumen? From what I hear they were.

Re: [voice]

[identity profile] madsciencemaou.livejournal.com 2009-10-05 06:07 am (UTC)(link)
Lumen... So that's what they're called. I may have missed the big one, but if the smaller ones are still wandering around... [muttermutter]

What are they? And who are you?

You're going to have to speak up, I can't hear I word you're muttering.

What are what, Lumens? I'm beginning to think they're all the animals that used to roam the city before they were all juiced up with that light stuff. They're what happens when a heart overflows with light.

As for myself, I need no introduction. Being the most popular guy in town and all. If you really insist though, I am The Great, Wise and All Powerful Timon.

Re: [voice]

[identity profile] madsciencemaou.livejournal.com 2009-10-05 06:35 am (UTC)(link)
So that kind of thing happens with light, too... What's with all these heart creatures anyway? Darkness and Heartless... Light and Lumens... Why can't they just pick something else and go with that?

...

...Never heard of you.

Beats me. I could go without it all myself, personally. It's really all just one big inconvenience. Now I'm just waiting for the next big 'fad'. Light, Darkness... Can't wait to see what they come out with next.

Due to a major lack of socialization with the outside world, I'm sure. Sun: you should get some, kid.

Re: [voice]

[identity profile] madsciencemaou.livejournal.com 2009-10-05 07:16 am (UTC)(link)
Hmph, they can come out with any variety they want just as long as I get to have the first look at them.

Why go outside when I have all that I need right here? It's not like there was anything important out there until those Lumens came along. There aren't even any comic book stores around here!

You're bound to run into one eventually. Though you shouldn't have any trouble finding them in the city right now, there's a lot of 'em just outside the gates.

You're diggin' yourself a deeper hole here, kid. What could be out there? Everything.

... Comic books? What good is a joke book gonna do you when you got no one to even talk to?

Re: [voice]

[identity profile] madsciencemaou.livejournal.com 2009-10-06 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
Just outside the gates... Convenient.

Ugh, what's with all these vague answers? Is that all you people know how to answer questions with?! "Everything" doesn't answer a damn thing!

What? No, not a joke book! A comic book! You know, the kind with heroes in it!

Re: [voice]

[identity profile] cowardly-hero.livejournal.com 2009-10-06 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, if you can get past the gate guards. Otherwise, not so much.

It's something you have to discover and experience for yourself, hermit.

That doesn't sound like a comic book to me. What's a hero doing in a book, anyway?

Re: [voice]

[identity profile] madsciencemaou.livejournal.com 2009-10-06 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
Hahaha! Breaking and entering--or in this case, breaking and exiting--is a basic honor student skill. It'll be simple.

First that Tobias guy, now you... Tch.

Have you even seen a comic book before?

Coming from someone with no outside experience...

Should I have?

Re: [voice]

[identity profile] madsciencemaou.livejournal.com 2009-10-06 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
I'll take that as a no. What kind of a place do you come from to not have even heard of one? Don't tell me you haven't heard of video games, either.

Then again, there aren't even any TVs here, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Re: [voice]

[identity profile] cowardly-hero.livejournal.com 2009-10-06 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
Video games? TVs? No, I haven't heard of them. Obviously they're not that important if I didn't have them back home.

Re: [voice]

[identity profile] madsciencemaou.livejournal.com 2009-10-06 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
Not that important? They're an integral part of my research!

Research? Are you even a real scientist?

Re: [voice]

[identity profile] madsciencemaou.livejournal.com 2009-10-06 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
Of course I am! This is a different branch of research... on heroes! In order to be able to take down my enemies, I must know how they work. What better way than to research every bit of hero-related material that I can? Comic books, video games, anime...! Every little bit I can get ahold of is a piece to the puzzle!
