Hmm. Well, people who are charming always know just the right thing to say at the right time. To put people at ease, to get them to like you and, in a lot of cases, get them to follow you.
What, charm? You don't really use it. It just happens. People who do try to use it in a calculating manner aren't really charming and will usually be found out.
But I guess..flattery is a good place to start. Smile to put people at ease.
